PHILMAC

Philmac is a leading manufacturer and supplier of polyethylene pipe system fittings and valves to national and global markets. Almost half of its product is exported to 30 overseas markets across Europe, the UK, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas.

Its products can be found in mines, on farms and rural properties, vineyards, golf courses, domestic and industrial building developments and the reticulated water supplies of towns and cities.

Corporate Conversation has been a long-time public relations partner to Philmac assisting in corporate and product promotional activity.

This has involved generating national media coverage for Philmac as a successful South Australian-based advanced manufacturer.

The manufacturing sector in Australia, particularly South Australia, has endured significant setbacks, most recently with the well documented loss of key automotive operations.

In this environment, Corporate Conversation has positioned Philmac in the public’s eye as an enduring success highlighting its focus on innovation and targeted export development as part of its sustainable growth strategy.

As well as generating positive media coverage for Philmac, Corporate Conversation has also assisted with other promotional activity including a site visit by the Prime Minister, which attracted national attention.

This followed Philmac being awarded Government funding for a major expansion at its Adelaide production facilities.

Corporate Conversation has also assisted in targeted product promotion, whether that be in generating editorial on specific products in relevant industry media or copywriting assistance with sales and marketing documentation.

The national agricultural sector is a key target market for Philmac and its regional community initiatives represent a significant investment.

Corporate Conversation has been heavily involved in the promotion of various community initiatives such as the Philmac Project to both highlight and encourage program participation, and also appropriately highlight the company’s support of regional Australia.
